From Jeff:Hello good people of the class of '78!
Well after graduating I went to SHSU with some really cool dudes Dean, Bill Krueger (where are you?), and my road dog Mark P. Then I went to California, fooled around, and then returned to TAMU. I met and married my wonderful wife, Ronda, in 1982. Our son Jonathan Travis was born in Bryan at St. Joseph's Hospital, delivered by the best doctor I ever met, Dr. Hall. We moved to northern California in 1983. I've been with the prison system at CSP-Sacramento (New Folsom) since 1986. I hope to get out in 2-3 years if all goes well. My prison was featured in a National Geographic special with Lisa Ling. If you don't blink you might see me. Unfortunately circumstances do not allow us to attend the Reunion. This website idea was great, thanks to those who made this possible. WOW... Brad B was right, time seems to be speeding up, I just wish it could slow down to 'aloha' time. Hope to see ya'll next time!

From DON:1978!!!! 30 YEARS!!!! Where did the time go? 1978 last year of school, couldn't wait to see the world, enlisted US Navy Nov.77, June 6, 1978 found me in boot camp in sunny San Diego,CA.Then the Navy sends me to various training schools for the next two years.10 years,5 years at sea,two trips around the world,1500 flight hours spent tracking Russian Subs,300 carrier landings,and 1 divorce(and she said she would wait!!)The best part of all that is, while visiting some Navy buddies in Philadelphia I would meet the Love of my Life Arnet,and 13 years later,it is as good as ever!She is a subway construction manager for New York City Transit,and I have been a Conductor for Amtrak for 10 years,a great job.Thank-You to those who are doing the work on the reunion,I hope to be there.PS anyone know where Jeff Duncan is?

From Terri:It has been so interesting reading about where everyone has been over the past 30 years. I have been in Atlanta for 22 years and absolutely love it. I married Lee Griffin (class of '78) a few years after high school, but unfortunately, that only lasted 5 years. I then met my current husband, Mark, several years after that, and we have been together ever since. Mark has 2 kids, Kaleb 16, and Madison 14, and they both live with us full time.

Looking so forward to seeing all my old buddies and catching up!

Life will go on I'm looking forward to seeing old friends. The last two were so much fun. You know your getting old when your kids 10 yr. reuion is coning up and they graduated from the same school you did. damn when did this happen.

From LouAnn:I have 4 kids -- 2 boys and 2 girls. Christine, age 25, is married with 2 children. Victoria is 21 and is getting married the week before the reunion. Donald and Justin, the twins, are 15. I've enjoyed working with the reunion committee and look forward to seeing everybody.

Amazing - 30 years! I have been married to my husband Bill for almost 14 years. He is a mechanical engineer with KBR. We have a 5
year old daughter Isabella. Boy, do I ever feel old when I read that so many of you have grown kids! She was a long time coming (quite a story).
I unfortunately was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia/CFS at about the time Bella was born, so I spend lots of time at home and working with the local and national support groups. Reading the names of so many of you I haven't seen in forever really brings a smile to my face! I would love to hear from you all. There isn't really space to catch up the whole 30 years!

    It has been so great seeing all of the past and present pictures of our classmates. I'm still in Midland and loving it.
     Nicole is 31 and lives in Lubbock, TX working and finishing her masters in Sociology. Amanda is 26 and lives in Austin, TX and is an Accountant for Seton Hospitals. Jennifer is 25 and lives in Midland and is engaged and will be getting Married in November to Doug Buchanan. Shannan is 18 and pole vaults for the University of Houston Track and Field Team.
     Many thanks to everyone who is working so hard to put on our 30th reunion.
