From Elizabeth:Gosh, it's hard to believe it's been 30 years! But then again when I look back at all that's gone on in my life, 30 years doesn't seem that long.

I've had a mid-life career change in the past few years. After 20 years of teaching special education, I went to seminary. I finished my Master of Divinity in May '07. Now I'm a United Methodist minister. Currently I am serving in the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. I married Rik Moen (of Shadowood Band) in 1980. We are blessed to have one 15 year old son. I'm looking forward to catching up with all of you.

I have lived in Bryan-College Station since high school graduation. In August, 1994, I received my Bachelor of Science degree from A&M. Both children live here in Bryan as well. My daughter Ami will be 27 in March, and my son Jeffrey turned 20 in November. Adult life is pretty good, but those high school days rocked! I can't wait to see everyone.
*This note is being added by the remaining members of the "Reunion Committee". Billy passed away on July 6, 2011 in a car accident. He was an instrumental part of our class reunions and was a tireless supporter of the BHS Class of '78. We will miss him and pray for comfort to his sister and our classmate, Lana, and their family.

From Lana:40 years - no way!! I am living in San Antonio, married and have three kids who keep me busy. Bryan is 26, married, graduated from the University of Alabama and is living and working in Houston in commodity trading/ private equity. Will is 23, graduate from Ole Miss and is living and working in Houston as an accountant at Ernst and Young. Lindsay is 16 and is a junior at Ronald Reagan High School. She keeps me on my toes and is keeping me young (or old depending on the situation). Other than keeping up with the kids, I work part time and volunteer. I have enjoyed reading everyones information and am looking forward to seeing everyone in July.

From Mike:It's been great reading about what everyone's been up to for the past 30 years. For me, I loved college so much I decided to never leave. I'm currently a Professor at Baylor and my wife of 26 years, Shari, is a high school science teacher. We have 3 kids: Jeff (24 years old, Baylor Class of 2007), Kylie (20 years old, the "now" picture above is of her and I at this year's high school prom) and Kelsey (16 years old). Hope to see many of you at the reunion.

After searching for nine years after graduating, I decided to go into the field of Non-destructive testing / inspection. I coupled that with commercial diving at the time and have performed inspections on drilling platforms in the Gulf to Nuclear reactors all over the country. For the last 15 years I have been with HMT an above ground storage tank company based in The Woodlands as Compliance manager dealing with DOT regulated Break-out tanks, staring at computer screen, loosing my hair and going blind.

I took time in 2005 to demolish and rebuild the home where my wife of 17 years and I now reside near Reliant Stadium in Houston.

I hope everyone has a great time at the reunion, regretably, I won't be able to make it.
