Iola TX Child Nutrition CSISD Married 2 2018-01-08 13:28:45
Looking forward to attending the 40th reunion now that I am living back in Texas.  I have been married  to a great soldier MG Kenneth Jones for 37 years.  We have 2 beautiful daughters.  Allison was just married this past June and lives in Jersey Village with her husband.  Amanda is married and lives with her family in Round Lake Beach IL.  She has 2 darling daughters, Natalie (3) and our new arrival Clara (6 months).

Ken was commissioned out of A&M and we headed to Aberdeen Maryland, then on to Fort Bragg, NC.  We landed in Berryton KS after Ken went into the Army Reserve. He worked for Hallmark cards and I worked at Berryton Elementary School Library.  We lived there for 28 years.  Once he retired from Hallmark we came back to Texas to warmer weather!

Ken is still in the Army Reserve and I work part time for CSISD.  Something to keep me occupied!

We have enjoyed being back "home" near family and old friends.  Will be exciting to see everyone after all these years!

I got a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M in 1982. Moved to Rockport, Texas and married the editor and publisher of the newspaper - Mike! After working at the newspaper for six years, I began working at the Rockport-Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce as their Executive Director in 1990. I guess I am a plugger because I am still there and plugging away! My claim to fame for this year is serving as Chairman of the Board for the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives. We have two daughters, Alyssa (20) a sophomore at Texas A&M and Ashlee (19) a freshman at Texas A&M. Mike and I are definitely "empty nesters" and look forward to seeing everyone! .... and no, my girls don't even know how to twirl!!!

New Braunfels TX Deputy Investment Officer Married 6 Roy 2018-05-31 01:23:23
Roy and I will celebrate 40 years together a couple of weeks after the reunion.  40 years is a long damn time!  I'm talking about life after high school, not married life (that still seems pretty short, and yet somehow, eternal). Our kids are all grown and pretty delightful to be around now.  We spend most weekends in New Braunfels having a great time with our two grandkids, who are at the age of "still like to hang out with us and can take care of themselves."

I've been fortunate to be able to stay in touch with many dear classmates over 40 years, but I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone who I've lost contact with over the years.

Be safe in your travels!

Lisa Marino (Obeji)
Rio Rancho New Mexico Financial Advisor-Merrill Lynch Married 3 Razek Obeji 2012-08-06 13:38:33
I moved away from Texas after graduation and only go back to visit family.  What a great city to grow up in.  I have been married for 24 years and have three wonderful children Byron, 21, Leila, 19 and Christian 17.  The most important people in my life is my family.  I did have a career change recently.  Life would be so boring if not for challenges like what I am doing now.  Wish me luck.

Cannot wait to see everyone.

Bryan TX Customer Relations Mgr Married 4 Donna Kay 2018-04-18 16:32:13
Forty year reunion wow, it doesn't look as bad when you spell it as using the numerals. My dear wife Donna K has not run me off after 30 plus years so I guess we can be considered lifers which is great for me. Two of our kids have moved out of state and one in Dallas, guess I am not as witty and fun as I like to think. Our youngest Jacob (24) is living in our old deer cabin on the family farm. We finally built a house and moved to the property in Kurten where I have always belonged. Always a ton of work to do but we love it. Our greatest news is we finally became grandparents last August and we are pictured with little Luke Dean Marucci. We have been very Blessed by the Lord with wonderful family and friends and cannot thank him enough. Hope to vist with many classmates in July and wish all true Blessings.   I am married to Lisa Knight Maynard, and live in a wooded area on the outskirts of Round Rock, along with 5 dogs and 1 cat.  Our son Spencer and his wife Erica made us grandparents in 2015 with the arrival of Robby, who is already starting to play drums.  I still play the drumset, although now it is at the Life Connection Church in Round Rock instead of 6th Street in Austin.
I spent the first 4 years after high school in the US Army, as an Electronics Technician in Military Intelligence, stationed in the Cold War-era Field Station Augsburg in West Germany, then for the next 6 years I worked as a Field Service Engineer repairing and installing computer systems for companies in Texas and California.  Since then I have spent over 25 years working in the Regulatory Compliance Engineering field for computer and electronic products, covering the specialties of EMC/EMI, Wireless/Telecom, Product Safety, Design for the Environment, and Quality Management Systems.  In my current job I am the Business Development and Communications Manager at American Certification Body, Inc.  I am also an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Senior Member, an active committee member for the annual IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Society Symposium, and a past-president of the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society.
In the past 5 years I have become a frequent contributor to In Compliance magazine, and I also train engineers on compliance engineering topics.  I have two degrees from Texas State University, one in Mathematics, and the other in Business & Marketing.
I did take a 4-year break in enginnering from 2008 to 2012, and taught math and science at Texas State University and Hutto High School.  When I retire, I hope to resume teaching math at one of the area community colleges.
