Howdy Viking people! Bryan, Tx. is practically the Garden of Eden so I never left....whatever. I'm currently too old to rock and roll, but too young to die. Actually, only the latter is true. Unfortunately my band is playing the night of the reunion just down the road in Wellborn, Tx at Hullabaloo Diner. We're called "The Texas Twisters" and play classic rock (you know, "our music") and some other crap just to please the crowd. I've been married for 23 years and have 2 kids, Matt age 19 and Rachel age 7. After teaching band for 5 years, switching to nursing and working mostly in the cardiac catherization lab, I now do home health nursing. My wife Nancy teaches early childhood special education at Carver (which will be rebuilt soon so if you want to relive 6th grade memories you better hurry). I was actually on the school board for one term in the early nineties...they'll elect anyone around here! I'm done.

Lots of time has gone by....30 years!! WOW! In June I will celebrate my 31st wedding anniversary to the former Betty Hodge, BHS class of '77. We have 2 daughters and a son-in-law. Our daughter Alicia is 30 and has just recently relocated back to Texas...College Station. Our daughter Courtney is 27, married and lives in Fruita, Colorado. Betty and I have lived in Rangely, Colorado for the past 18 years. We transfered here with Chevron who I have been working for for the past 28 years. Sorry to say, but I will not be able to attend this 30th reunion. Y'all have fun and I'll look forward to updates on how things went. |

Looking forward to attending the 40th reunion now that I am living back in Texas. I have been married to a great soldier MG Kenneth Jones for 37 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters. Allison was just married this past June and lives in Jersey Village with her husband. Amanda is married and lives with her family in Round Lake Beach IL. She has 2 darling daughters, Natalie (3) and our new arrival Clara (6 months).Ken was commissioned out of A&M and we headed to Aberdeen Maryland, then on to Fort Bragg, NC. We landed in Berryton KS after Ken went into the Army Reserve. He worked for Hallmark cards and I worked at Berryton Elementary School Library. We lived there for 28 years. Once he retired from Hallmark we came back to Texas to warmer weather! Ken is still in the Army Reserve and I work part time for CSISD. Something to keep me occupied! We have enjoyed being back "home" near family and old friends. Will be exciting to see everyone after all these years! |

![]() ![]() I got a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M in 1982. Moved to Rockport, Texas and married the editor and publisher of the newspaper - Mike! After working at the newspaper for six years, I began working at the Rockport-Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce as their Executive Director in 1990. I guess I am a plugger because I am still there and plugging away! My claim to fame for this year is serving as Chairman of the Board for the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives. We have two daughters, Alyssa (20) a sophomore at Texas A&M and Ashlee (19) a freshman at Texas A&M. Mike and I are definitely "empty nesters" and look forward to seeing everyone! .... and no, my girls don't even know how to twirl!!! |

Roy and I will celebrate 40 years together a couple of weeks after the reunion. 40 years is a long damn time! I'm talking about life after high school, not married life (that still seems pretty short, and yet somehow, eternal). Our kids are all grown and pretty delightful to be around now. We spend most weekends in New Braunfels having a great time with our two grandkids, who are at the age of "still like to hang out with us and can take care of themselves." I've been fortunate to be able to stay in touch with many dear classmates over 40 years, but I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone who I've lost contact with over the years. Be safe in your travels! |

I moved away from Texas after graduation and only go back to visit family. What a great city to grow up in. I have been married for 24 years and have three wonderful children Byron, 21, Leila, 19 and Christian 17. The most important people in my life is my family. I did have a career change recently. Life would be so boring if not for challenges like what I am doing now. Wish me luck.Cannot wait to see everyone. |

Forty year reunion wow, it doesn't look as bad when you spell it as using the numerals. My dear wife Donna K has not run me off after 30 plus years so I guess we can be considered lifers which is great for me. Two of our kids have moved out of state and one in Dallas, guess I am not as witty and fun as I like to think. Our youngest Jacob (24) is living in our old deer cabin on the family farm. We finally built a house and moved to the property in Kurten where I have always belonged. Always a ton of work to do but we love it. Our greatest news is we finally became grandparents last August and we are pictured with little Luke Dean Marucci. We have been very Blessed by the Lord with wonderful family and friends and cannot thank him enough. Hope to vist with many classmates in July and wish all true Blessings.
