Not a Care in the World!
Friday nights at Lakeview...Saturday nights at Mansard House listening to the Shadowwood band...meetings with the boys at Zachariah's Greenhouse...racing to Ken Martin's Steakhouse at lunch to have Jake the Steak, Sly the fry, Lee the tea and throwing forks into the ceiling in the "Cave Room"...juicy cheeseburgers and coconut pie at Bert Mullin's...very safe road trips in Pipkin's hot rod to out of town football games...meeting during a pep rally at Dennis Dick's apartment (only cool dude to have his own apartment in high school)....playing Indian and 7-27 at those crazy poker games with the boys...oh, I could go on and on.

OK Frank, I'm feeling like I led a very sheltered life. What I remember is actually attending pep rallies and riding to the football game in a yellow school bus. The only hot-rodding I remember is when my brakes went out on me in my old putt-putt VW bug while driving down Briarcrest! Olguita

Frank,
My memories of Shadowood involve lots of sitting on the ice chest listening. No one to dance with as my steady (Rik Moen) was in the band. We've been married almost 28 years now. Last year, I found myself sitting on the ice chest while the worship band he plays with did a 70's gig fundraiser. Very de ja vu. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Isn't it funny how differently we all remember the exact same memory? See you at the reunion.
